Today's TLA of the day is PIC

Play It Cool

My inspiration today comes from my recent encounters with women in clubs, or in venues where there are interesting single women around. I noticed that a guy will be more attractive in a woman's eye if he is not so into her or even perhaps ignores her after the first few dialogue exchanges. Women in many ways are hunters themselves. Its not fun to hunt for game which is ready to be hunted. In many ways, Women enjoy the chase just as well as men do. But there is a delicate balance. How (as a man) do you want to show your interest and attraction to a woman and yet at the same time not let her know about your interest and attraction to her without you looking like a piece of game ready to be hunted? Well there is only one phrase: "PIC (Play it cool. Just play it cool)"

There are many ways to interpret "Play it cool." First steps tho, you have to be willing to get her email or number to do these things, cuz if you don't have the balls to ask for a simple number, then you will never find out if she reciprocates the same interests or attraction.

1) Don't call her for a while, (don't call a girl everyday guys should use 2-3 day holding pattern period) It makes someone look really desperate and pathetic if someone calls everyday. If she is excited that you called, then most of the time they want you to call them. There are 2 tones there is the "Oh its you... " tone vs. the "Ooooh its you" tone. Look for the excited tone, if you get the indifference tone, you should let it marinate and play it cool a little longer.

2) Be hella busy this week. If she calls don't call back right away.
It displays the fact that she may not be the center of your life at the moment. Everyone has stuff to do. You just met this girl why would you want to do stuff with her if your stuff is more important than her stuff.

3) If she is busy, let her have her time and space. "So when do you think you will be free again?" If she says 2-3 days, multiply that estimate by Pi and call her in about 6-9 days from the last time you talked. If she asks why haven't u called just use the #2 excuse
"I was ALSO busy with stuff I had to do." It conveys indifference and independence. It sort of says, "I don't have to think about you constantly, we just met".

4) When you finally do talk to her, make it a meaningful conversation, don't be a lump on a log. Find the common interest whether it be sports, her work, her school, shopping, movies, music, basically anything you have in common or not have in common.

5) Don't just go to dinner and movie cuz everyone else does it. Be a more interesting fellow other than a dinner and a movie. Girls usually like interesting gentlemen. Boring normal people suck.

Anyways, I could be wrong about all of this, but the essential lesson is that girls don't really like it if a guy shows too much interest early on. And the only way to fight the urges of showing too much interest early is to "Play it cool."

Enjoy,
Jonathan
