Turning Twenty-Seven

Ok so tomorrow is my 27th birthday. And I am not really tripping out as much as when I turned 25. I wrote my Quarter Life Crisis blog 2 years ago when I was turning 25. The concept of being 25 scared me then. But now I just accept the fact that I am getting older and hopefully getting wiser.

I think I am getting better with regards to putting God at a higher priority in my life and I know that's definite growth from 2 years ago. Going through the process of learning is always good. I was able to learn more about my limitations, my potential, my hidden talents, and my creative ideas. In think the past 2 years, I have learned about other people, and most importantly about God. What is really amazing is that I am finding out that I love learning or rather the process of learning.

Also, I am more urgent about my time and what I really want to learn and grow from my experiences. I calculated that there is roughly (23*24*365) 201,480 hours (God willing) till the time I reach 50 years of age. And I can not wait to see what God wants me to learn from these hours. We should look at life with the perspective of what does God want me to do with the hours that God has given me today. Rather than taking for granted the hours God has given me.

Enjoy,
Jonathan

Another Personality Test

Get to know yourself better

Whoa this test is pretty interesting. I am not sure if I agree about the results, but anyways I do agree I should be courageous with regards to the risk and reward of failure and success. Boring blog. I swear I will write more often.

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Enjoy,
